Some of the best weather to be outdoors can be in September. What better time to go for a walk at Eagle Creek Park or watch birds at the Ornithology Center! Attached is the September Calendar for Eagle Creek Park. Please note that while the park itself is open on Labor Day (Sept. 5th), that the Earth Discovery Center and the Ornithology Center, as well as the office, is closed that day.
Something special at the end of the month is the “Images of Nature Art Show”. This is a very popular photography show all dealing with images captured by camera in nature. This is in the Earth Discovery Center and always has a lot of terrific photographs. I believe some of those who live in our district are entering pictures, so be sure to stop by starting September 24th and check this out!
