Dear All,Attached are the July Calendars for the three libraries closest to us. Each one has a lot of various programs geared from preschoolers through senior citizens and all the ages in-between. Check out the calendars and the descriptions of the various programs and see what would be of interest to you and your family this summer. Please note that the libraries will all be closed on Independence Day. Also, the last day to get points and turn them in for the Summer Reading Program is July 29th.
Last week I had the honor of being a guest reader at the Wayne Township Library for their summer reading program. Even though it was pouring down rain, there was a nice audience of boys and girls (along with their parents). It was a lot of fun and I thoroughly enjoyed reading to them. On Friday, July 14th, I will be a guest reader at Eagle Library at 2 p.m. This is right after their “Paws to Read” program. Would love to see some of you there with your children or grandchildren!
Hope you will visit one or more of our great libraries soon for either a special program or activitie or just to check out some books or tapes. Remember to help keep those students reading and learning over the summer!
