Dear All,
Attached is the August calendar for Eagle Creek Park and a flyer about a new and unique event this year coming in September – a BEEch Party (a dinner to celebrate the bees at Eagle Creek Beach). There is a lot going on at Eagle Creek Park: programs on weekends and after school on Fridays for the school age children, Wednesday morning story time and nature activities for the preschoolers, things to do as a family, enjoying the park itself and all it has to offer, and don’t forget the concert series that continues on Wednesday evenings this month.
Just want to point out that the park will not be open until 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19th and 26th due to Triathlons that morning. Please plan according.
Looking ahead to the end of September will be the “Images of Nature” photo show. Are you a photographer with some terrific photos of nature? Might want to check this out! Not sure when the deadline is for submitting photos, but I am sure the office could tell you or direct you to someone who can.
Don’t forget to check out the BEEch Party flyer. While it is a ways off yet (Friday, Sept. 15th) you do need to register ahead of time on the registration page. Cost is $45 per person.
Hope you are able to enjoy some time outside at Eagle Creek Park soon and often. We are so lucky to have this gem of a park located in our district.
