This frigid weather may keep you from doing outside activities, but there is plenty to do inside at Eagle Creek Park and our libraries. So don’t worry about the cold, just come inside! You also can enjoy from your car the beauty of Eagle Creek Park after the snow. The drive through the park really is a true “Winter Wonderland“!
Attached is the calendar for Eagle Creek Park for January. Check out their programs, however there is always something to see and observe at the Earth Discovery Center (EDC) and the Ornithology Center (OC). Please note that both the EDC and OC are closed on January 1st and have different hours on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (January 15th).
It is time to get your 2018 Park Passes, if you have not done so already. Information is as follows:

This information is also on the calendar along with information about purchasing passes for the Bark Park. With a pass you may visit the park as often as you wish throughout the year without having to pay the gate fee. Can really be a terrific savings!
The calendars for the three Indianapolis Public Libraries that are closest to our district are also attached. They have a lot of programs and activities to do inside for all ages. And what better weather to curl up with a good book and relax! While Wayne Library and Pike Library are open seven days a week, Eagle Library is closed on Sunday. All three of them will be closed on January 1st for New Years Day and on January 15th for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
