The Ornithology Center at Eagle Creek Park had “Penguin Awareness Day” with lots of craft projects centered around these non-flying, south of the equator birds.
Young and older alike enjoyed visiting the various stations that were set up with different activities.
One young lady was making a card with thumb print penguins, “wiggly eyes”, and paints. Everyone in attendance seemed to be having a great time.
