New Eagle Branch Library and Easter Egg Hunt

Dear All,

There are a few things going on in our area that I thought you may be interested in knowing about or attending.  The first is the groundbreaking for the new Eagle Branch Library on Friday, March 23rd, at 11 a.m.  The new library will be located at 3905 Moller Road (just north of 38th Street by Meijer).  They have outgrown their current location off 34th Street, have limited parking, and is not very accessible for those with disabilities.  This will be an exciting day for the library staff and others as what has been in the works for a while now is finally breaking ground.  Hope many of you can join them for the ceremony.  More information is below.

There are two annual Easter Egg Hunts that are happening the next couple of Saturdays.  These are always a lot of fun for the boys and girls.

The first is put on every year by the Eagledale Neighborhood Association at Bowman Park, which is located at 3600 Auburn Road (just north of 34th Street behind Carl Wilde School # 79 – between Moller and Georgetown Roads).  It will be held on Saturday, March 24th, at 1:00 p.m.  The Easter Bunny will be there, IMPD, Horse Patrol, and more.  This is for children 10 and under.  For more information see the attached flyer.

Clermont Lions Club will have their annual hunt on Saturday, March 31st, at 11 a.m. in Lions Club Park.  This park is located at 3201 Tansel Road in Clermont (south of Crawfordsville Road).  The Easter Bunny will make his appearance and there are lots of eggs, as well as prizes and gift cards.  See their attached flyer for more information.

Please feel free to pass this information on to others who may be interested.  I know that the organizers of these events would appreciated it.

Sincerely,

Janice McHenry
City-County Councillor District 6
