There is a lot going on this weekend on Saturday and I wanted to send out a reminder of the activities in our area. The weather forecast sounds good, so would be a great time to spend part of the day outdoors.
Starting off the morning will be the Grand Opening of the B&O Trail in Speedway. This will take place at Leonard Park at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Diamond in the Rough 5K at 10 a.m. See the attached for more information.
Clermont Lions Club is having their Clermont Festival. At 11 a.m. there is a parade that will be on Crawfordsville Road from Raceway Road to Tansel Road and then south on Tansel Road to Lions Club Park. Please note the route if traveling in this area before 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The parade should be great! After the parade there are vendors that have set up in the park. That evening is the 68th Annual Rodeo starting at 7:30 p.m., with a family preview hour from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. See the attached flyers from Clermont for more information.
Also during the day on Saturday (from about 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.) will be our IMPD Northwest District 5th Annual “Cruisin’ With Cops Car Show” at the Lafayette Square Mall (in the back of the mall). There are always a lot of really neat vehicles on display and this is free for spectators. The attached flyer gives more information on that as well.
Hopefully you will be able to make one or more of these, but if you cannot remember that traffic (especially in Clermont) can be affected. Looking forward to seeing some of you on Saturday.
