Dear All,
This is a reminder that my next quarterly Town Hall Meeting will be this coming Saturday, Oct. 6th, from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Community Center, located at 2950 N. High School Road. Indianapolis City Controller Fady Qaddoura is our guest speaker. He will be speaking on the 2019 budget that the Council will be voting on in a couple of weeks. This is your opportunity to learn more about the budget for Indianapolis/Marion County – where the money for the City comes from and how it is being divided up to different departments. This should be a very informative meeting and a chance for you to ask questions of our City Controller.
Please feel free to forward this information on to others in our District who may not be receiving this information otherwise. While currently there have been over 7,000 meeting information cards passed out in our district, still every neighborhood has not been done. I would like to thank all of the volunteers who have helped me make this possible. If your neighborhood has not had cards distributed in it and you would like to help me, please let me know. It is great exercise and I would welcome the help. It also has been a lot of fun lately seeing so many fall decorations and flowers around.
