“Eagle Creek Fall Fun List”

Dear All,

You may have noticed that some leaves are beginning to turn, the days are getting shorter, and while maybe not this week – fall will soon be in the air.  Attached is Eagle Creek Park’s Calendar for October.  There are some seasonal things going on and many other activities, so check it out.  Also attached is an “Eagle Creek Fall Fun List”.  This has 20 different ideas of things to do during the fall at Eagle Creek Park.  With fall being nature’s paintbrush, each and every day is something new when walking, driving, riding a bike, or sitting on a bench and enjoying the view in Eagle Creek Park as the leaves change color and then begin to fall to the ground.  I hope that you will be able to visit the park soon (and often).

Thatcher Park is offering “Camp Waterpalooza” during fall break (October 15th – 19th).  This is being held from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day and is $60 per child for ages 6 – 14.  Participates ages 11 – 14 can also participate in the Junior Lifeguarding program and earn a Community CPR/First Aid Certification.  A great opportunity for Fall Break that is not only fun, but educational as well.  See attached flyer for more information.

I hope that this is helpful.  Please feel free to share with others who may be interested.

Sincerely,

Janice McHenry
City-County Councillor District 6
