In recognition of American Heart Month the Women in Neighborhood Service Group (WINS) held their February meeting at the American Heart Association. They learned a lot about how to take better care of your heart, the warning signs of heart attacks, and strokes. The women all wore red to the meeting for “Go Red for Women”, which promotes understanding that heart disease and strokes affects women and encourages learning more.
