The first of the public meetings for the Renovation Project at the Wayne Branch Library was recently held. The topic was “What would you like to see in your renovated library?” It was an interactive meeting where those in attendance walked around and selected things that they liked from pictures from other libraries. A lot of discussion took place as people talked with others about the pictures.
After everyone had time to “mark” their favorites, there was discussion on why people liked what they did and why other things were not as popular. It gave the architects some ideas of what appealed to those using the library in our area.
