Dear All, Have anything planned for the afternoon of March 17th?

Dear All,

Have anything planned for the afternoon of March 17th?  How about spending part of your St. Patrick’s Day with a group of us as we clean up along the west side of Dandy Trail from 46th Street to 38th Street?  This is a great way to get outside (I’ve looked ahead at the weather and the forecast is great for March!), get some exercise, and do something positive for our community before you either spend an evening relaxing or going out for some St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

We will be meeting in the parking lot north of Rick’s Boatyard and south of the boat storage on Dandy Trail at 1:00 p.m.  From there we can go in both directions and get this area that is in need of some work done.  Depending on the size of the group we should be done by 2:30, and then, if you would like, we can go as a group to Rick’s Boatyard for a late lunch.  Lunch is on your own.

This is a great opportunity to spend some time making sure this area is looking good for spring and for when boats will be coming or going on the reservoir.  Join us as we work to see only “green” and not trash along this stretch of Dandy Trail.  Hope to see you then!

Sincerely,

Janice McHenry
