465 Work

Dear All,

The latest in road construction on our interstates in Marion County is attached.  This is what is going to be going on this weekend, so if you are planning on using I-465, I-65, I-865, or driving close to the areas that are being worked on be advised of delays, detours, and additional traffic close by.  Note that the ramp closures on 71st Street to I-465 northbound and I-465 NB to 86th Street are both here on the west side.

Do remember to slow down in work zones and pay attention to the posted speed limits.  The roads are uneven in spots, there are workers who are doing their job, and traffic is heavier and may stop suddenly.  We all want everyone to be safe and not have any accidents.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Please feel free to forward this on to others not only in our district, but throughout Marion County of to those you know who may be coming to Indianapolis this weekend.

Sincerely,

Janice McHenry

City-County Councillor District 6
