Dear All,
October 2nd is going to be a busy day for our Northwest District IMPD. Starting at 10:00 a.m. will be “Coffee With a Cop”. This month “Coffee With a Cop” will be held at “Books a Million” which is located 5750 W. 86th Street. This is a great opportunity for you to talk with officers, the Commander, and others with IMPD about what is on your mind about our area. October 2nd happens to be “National Coffee With a Cop Day”, which is why it is on the same day as the Task Force Meeting. Hope you are able to stop by if only for a few minutes from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and have a cup of coffee and visit with those who work so hard for our area each day, as well as check out “Books a Million”.
The Task Force meeting will be from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Northwest District Headquarters located at 3821 Industrial Blvd. This month’s speaker will be talking about the Marion County Jail System. Refreshments will be served.
Flyers for both of these events are attached. Please feel free to share this with others, not only in District 6, but throughout our Northwest District IMPD area. I know that IMPD would appreciate your help in getting the word out.
Hope to see many of you at either one or both of these events. Let’s have a great turnout from District 6 and show our Northwest District IMPD how much we appreciate all they do for us.
