With above freezing temperatures being predicted for over the weekend thawing should occur. Also, we may have a rain/snow mix starting Sunday evening and then warmer days ahead. The water needs to have someplace to go and not pool on streets possibly freezing overnight and creating hazardous conditions. Please make sure if you have a storm drain in front of your home (or close by) that you do your best to clear it from snow and that water will be able to get to it and flow down into the pipes below.
Thanks to everyone who helps keep the storm drains in their neighborhood clear and flowing, not only now but throughout the year. It is very helpful.
