Hope everyone has a safe, happy, and enjoyable Independence Day!!!!!!
On July 4th, 1776 our Founding Fathers approved the Declaration of Independence and a new nation was founded on freedom. This is a day where many will gather with family or friends for cookouts and fireworks to celebrate our nation’s birthday. Please do take time to pause for a moment and think about what happened so long ago in history. Remember as well all of those who have sacrificed in so many ways from the time of the Revolutionary War until now for our Liberties, so that we may remain a free nation.

P.S. The attached picture is a painting my mother painted in 1976 in honor of our nation’s bicentinial from a photo of the original. Ihis copy she did in oil of the famous picture shows the writing of the Decoration of Independence by three of our founding fathers. What talented and forward thinking men were gathered together during that time in history.
