Eagle Creek Park Foundation Garden Tour
For those of you who enjoy flowers and seeing what others have done with their flower gardens, The Eagle Creek Park Foundation’s first annual Garden Tour may appeal to you. Attached are more details including how you can get tickets for this event on Saturday, June 11th, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Sounds like a lovely way to spend time enjoying some great gardens and maybe even getting ideas what to do with your own areas that you plant! Hope many of you garden enthusiast will be able to enjoy this and help support our Eagle Creek Park.
B&O Locomotion 5K Walk
If you enjoy walking for exercise and also help raise money to help bring the B&O Trail into Marion County, how about participating in the family friendly fundraiser walk? Attached are more details as well as the registration form. This is the second year for this event. Registration starts at 9:00 a.m. and the walk begins at 10. Great way to get some exercise and support a worthy project as well.
Can’t make up your mind which to do? Why not do both.? The walk starts at 10:00 a.m. and the Garden Tour lasts until 4:00 p.m. Why not make a day of it? Get your exercise, grab a quick bite to eat, and head out to the Garden Tour. I am sure you would find it very rewarding. Whatever you decide, enjoy your day!
