The second annual “Flap-Jacks 5K” to raise funds for the extending the B&O Trail into Marion County – and the southern part of our district was held in August. Councillor Janice McHenry (volunteer) and Lisa Bentley (major organizer of the event) posed for the camera.

While the racers were on the course, firefighters volunteered their cooking talents by making pancakes for everyone to enjoy when they were finished.

After enjoying “Flap-Jacks”, fruit, juice, and water the participates talk among themselves as they await for awards to be presented. A very successful event and one to look forward to again next year!
