Another volunteer opportunity is happening on Saturday, April 27th, from 9 a.m. – noon for those who would like to make a difference by picking up trash along some of our major roadways that need some TLC. This time we will be cleaning up the area of 71st Street from the entrance of Eagle Creek Park to Intech Park and along Lafayette Road. Our meeting location is at the INDOT Maintenance Lot located just north of 71st Street on the west side of Lafayette Road across from Noel Road. There you can get supplies and will be able to head out as a group to tackle the trash in this area that thoughtless people have thrown out of their vehicles. Would really like to see many of you come out and join us. Attached is a flyer that you may forward to others to encourage them to participate. The larger group we have the more area we can cover, the more trash that gets picked up, and the sooner the job gets done.
Hope to see you on Saturday!
