US 40

Dear All,

Below is information about work that is being done on U.S. 40 (West Washington Street) from Raceway Road to west of Plainfield.  I know that many of you under normal circumstances probably do use part of this road to go shopping, to the airport, if you are traveling south through Mooresville, etc.  While this most likely will not affect most of you now, I thought I would share it so you are at least aware of what road work is being done currently that may benefit you in the future.

If you do know of people who live closer to this area and may have a more direct impact, please feel free to share.

Take care and be safe!

Sincerely,

Janice McHenry

This project also includes a bridge deck overlay on the west end of U.S. 40 over White Lick Creek, currently the schedule shows work will begin on the bridge in late July. The project is scheduled to be completed before the Labor Day holiday.
