You may have noticed that there are only two calendars for the libraries closest to us this month. That is because currently Eagle Library is closed due to moving to their new location. There is more information on that and their exciting Grand Opening on June 1st below and attached.
Our two other close locations (Pike and Wayne) are open and have lots of great programs going on this month. Both have a lot of terrific activities, especially for our youth. Take time to check them out! The libraries will be closed May 25th, 26th, and 27th for the Memorial Day Weekend.
Wayne Library is in its final preparation for their huge renovation project. There is one more public meeting on Wednesday, May 8th, from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. This will be your chance to offer your reactions to the recommended Library layout. Flyer is attached.
Below is additional information about the Eagle Branch library that may be helpful to some of you. Also there is information about their Grand Opening:
To prepare for the opening of the new Eagle Branch at 3905 Moller Road, the current Eagle Branch will close on April 27.
The grand opening of the new branch is scheduled for June 1. Between April 27 and June 1, patrons with books or materials that are due can return them to any other Indianapolis Public Library location. Patrons with items currently being held for pick-up at the Eagle Branch may contact the branch or any other IndyPL location to have the pickup point temporarily changed.
