Dear All,

The next Coffee With A Cop has an exciting location as they will be at Traders Point Creamery located at 9101 Moore Road inside the Red Barn.  The date is Thursday, August 24th from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  This is a terrific opportunity to talk to the officers and Commander Lewis amd get to know them better.  Hopefully many of you will be able to join them at this “country” location.  See flyer for more details and please help spread the word.

Sincerely,
Janice McHenry

Dear All,
With the stormy weather that we have been having lately, I wanted to share this brochure with you.  It offer a lot of great advise if you have storm damage and are looking into getting repairs.  I know we have had people coming to our door lately and most likely many of you have as well.
Please feel free to share with others as the information here could help prevent someone from getting scammed.
Sincerely,
Janice McHenry

Dear All,

It is not too late to donate school supplies to the annual “Back to School Supply Drive”.  Thanks to everyone who has donated, and if you have not taken some supplies to the park, please do so this weekend.  You may leave them at either the 56th Street or 71st Street gate (you do not need to go into the park to drop off supplies) or take them to the Earth Discovery Center.  During the week you may also drop them off at the Park Office.

I picked up the supplies today to start sorting, and it seems that donations are really down this year.  Hopefully many of you just have not made it to the park yet to drop them off.  These items are needed by the schools to give to students who don’t have the items to do their work.  This need is not just for the first of school, but throughout the year – which is why we give them directly to the schools so the staff has them to give out when needed.

Let’s all help children to learn and grow.  When you are at a store over the weekend pick up some supplies on the list and drop them off at the park.  It would be great if next week all the boxes would be overflowing.

Sincerely,

Janice McHenry
