Saturday, seventeen volunteers showed up on what seemed like the coldest day of the year to pick up trash along 56th Street and Reed Road. Before getting started, some of the volunteers posed for a picture with Councillor McHenry.

All the bags of trash were piled in a central location so that they could be picked up later. Councillor McHenry not only wants to thank those who came out on Saturday, but also to others who pick up trash in many of the various areas in our district on a regular basis to help make the west side look better! Together we do make a difference!
