Dear All,
Would you like to see the potholes filled in front of our schools, on your way to work or while running errands, and on other roads that you travel? Then DPW needs your help as does our area! The asphalt plants have opened early and the City now has “hot mix” to fill those potholes. This is the fill that gives a much more permanent fix than the “cold mix” that has been used so far this winter. DPW is planning on working through the weekend filling pot holes that have had the MOST CALLS into the Mayor’s Action Center (MAC). So our area needs your help. Please call in the potholes that you are aware of to the MAC at 317-327-4622 or through the RequestIndy smartphone app, the RequestIndy portal at maps.indy.gov/requestindy/. Don’t think that “someone has reported this” – report it yourself. The more calls that the MAC receives for an area, the quicker that pothole will get filled and the more likely it will be repaired with the “hot mix”. Encourage others to do the same, including the pot holes you have reported. By all of us working together reporting potholes that we experience we may be able to get them working in our area and getting the roads that mean the most to us repaired! Thanks for your help by reporting now!!!!!!
Sincerely,
Janice McHenry
