Wayne Township Schools Community Leaders Luncheon

The first Wayne Township Schools Community Leaders Luncheon  of the 2018 – 2019 school year was recently held.  Two topics were covered in the presentation – an update on the Solar Farm that you can see on the north side of W. 10th St. just east of the underpass and STEM Certification.  Pictured here is Rick Crosslin, Science Coach, doing a highly energized, fast paced “science lesson” leading up to learning more about solar power.

There are 7 schools in Wayne Township that are currently STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Certified.  Three of those school are in District 6 – including Robey Elementary.  Principal Ben Markley talked about the Scout Program at Robey which earned them the STEM Certification.

Great things are going on in our schools.  It is always exciting to learn about those great things!  Thanks to all the teachers, staff, and others for what you do each and every day for our students.
