Dear All,
With the holiday weekend for our Nation’s Birthday here, we decided it may be a good time to do our next Cleanup. We will be picking up along 56th Street in both directions from Reed Road and along Reed Road on Friday, July 5th, starting at 9 a.m. and working until 10:30 a.m. Many of you may be off on Friday and we will be finished early enough for you to enjoy the rest of your day (and weekend). Come out and join us as we make a difference in this area. Please share this info with others who may be interested in helping. The more hands we have – the longer stretch we can get done.
Clean Up
Friday, July 5th
9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Meet at Mayor’s Gardens Parking Lot
(southeast corner of 56th and Reed Road)
Trash bags, reachers, gloves, water, and snacks will be provided.
Hope to see many of you on Friday. Can’t make it then? Due to the weather in June we were not able to do a group cleanup then, so we will be doing another one later this month. Watch for details. Remember, too, that you can always pick and area close to where you live or at one of our parks and clean it up with a friend, family member, or on your own. By all of us working together we can help our area look so much better.
Sincerely,
Janice McHenry
City-County Councillor District 6
