I have some more information about road work that is being done close to many of us and may slow down how we get around. This information will affect those of you who use I-65 around 71st Street and Eagle Creek. While most of the work will be taking place on bridges in this area from 9 p.m. – 6 a.m., the I-75 southbound ramp to 71st Street will be fully closed from May 3rd – 12th. See the info from INDOT (Indiana Department of Transportation). Please see the News Release for more information.
It seems I have been giving out a lot of information lately about projects that INDOT is doing that may affect many of us. While we are experiencing some detours, slow downs, and additional traffic in other areas – in the long run it is going to be nice to have these improvements. Drive safely and carefully, and when in work zones be sure to slow down and watch carefully for workers.

Lane Restrictions Announced for Multiple Bridges in Marion County
Starting May 3
MARION COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation will be closing lanes on multiple bridges in Marion County for bridge work.
Crews will be working on numerous bridge decks throughout the summer. Each bridge will have intermittent lane closures, but the public will still have access throughout construction.
