Have you been out to the park the last few days (or even driving by it)? WOW! The leaves are turning, and with sunshine it is really getting beautiful. Each day there is more color and something different to see with the work of nature’s paintbrush.
I have attached the November calendar so that you can enjoy even more of the park by checking out the various programs. Please note that the EDC (Earth Discovery Center) and OC (Ornithology Center) as well as the office will be closed on November 11th in observance of Veterans Day and also on October 25th and 26th. October 24th the EDC, OC, and office will close at 1 p.m. The Park Grounds are still open on those days for your enjoyment.
If you are an artist and wish to display your works in the Celebration of Nature Art Show in December the drop off for entries is November 20th. See the attached for more information and how to get an entry form.
The park gates open at 7 a.m. and will now be closing at 6:30 p.m. This time will remain, even after we change our clocks back. Please take note.
