Dear All,
As I have been driving around our area the last few days, I have noticed how much trash is out there! I really looks bad!!! With the weather forecast looking nice for tomorrow, I thought I would try a “Spur of the Moment Clean-up”. If you are available tomorrow afternoon for about an hour and a half, please meet me at 1:00 p.m. in the Mayor’s Garden’s Parking Lot (south of 56th Street off of Reed Road. I will bring supplies, but if you have your favorite grabber, bucket, or gloves, please bring them. We will pick up along 56th Street on Reed Road. Depending on how many we have will determine how much we get done – but remember, every bit does help and make a difference.
Can’t join me tomorrow? Then I would like to encourage all of you to pick an area (be it along a road, around and on one of the bridges, by one of our parks, etc.) this week. If we all got out and picked up a bag or two we would make a huge difference! By working together we can certainly improve the looks around where we live.
