Dear All,

Most of you by now have either read articles in the Indianapolis Star (see the one attached from Wednesday) or heard on the news about the Indiana State Police and their investigation into voter fraud in now fifty-seven counties in Indiana.  The possible fraudulent information may be a combination of fake names, addresses, and dates of birth with real information.  Marion County is one of those counties that are being looked into.  You are urged to visit:  indianavoters.in.gov to make sure you are properly registered (correct name, address, birth date, etc.).  If you do discover inaccurate information that indicates you could be a victim, contact our local voter registration office at 327-5040 AND the 24-hour Indiana State Police Voter Registration Application Fraud tip line at (888) 603-3147.

I do encourage you to make sure that you are correctly registered to save you a lot of hassle come election day.  Please do this before the end of registration on Tuesday.

Sincerely,

Janice McHenry
City-County Councillor District 6
