Dear All,
While I know that a lot of you were able to attend the recent Public Open House on July 24th for the 56th Street Multi-use Path from Raceway Road to Eagle Creek Reservoir, I know that many who would liked to have attended or had more information were not able to make it that evening or at the time it was held. PTRA (Pike Township Residents Association) is going to have DPW out at their meeting this week (Wednesday, Aug. 9th) to do a presentation on the Greenway. Their meeting starts at 7 p.m. and it is near the beginning of the agenda (see attached). They meet at the Pike Township Government Center located 5665 Lafayette Road (northeast corner of 56th and Lafayette Road behind the gas station). You may stay as long as you like after the presentation; you do not need to stay for the entire meeting. This is another opportunity for those of you who were not able to attend the Public Open House at the Eagle Creek Golf Course to learn more about this new trail.
I also have attached the information sheet that was handed out at the Public Open House. This shows a map and gives the project details. Several of you have asked for more information, and this is what I have. Hope this is helpful.
Sorry for the late notice about the meeting on Wednesday, August 9th, but I just found out about it myself today. I do hope that those who are interested in this trail and were not able to make the last meeting will be able to attend. See you there!
