Great Indy Fall Cleanup

Dear All,

The participation by so many of you with various cleanups in our district has been greatly appreciated and certainly has made a huge difference.  Unfortunately, as hard as we work, the need still keeps coming back.  An area has been identified that has a need, and part of the area has not been done by us before.  I would like to invite you to join Mayor Hogsett and me to make this improvement.  Details are in the attached flyer and below:

Please join
City-County Councillor Janice McHenry & Mayor Joe Hogsett
for Great Indy Fall Cleanup
Saturday, September 23rd

Meet in the parking lot in front of
Boathouse Grill
(south east corner of 56th Street and High School Road)
We will be concentrating on the bridge area over I – 465, the north side of 56th Street (Eagle Creek Park land) from I – 465 to Lafayette Road
and the northwest corner of 56th Street and Lafayette Road.

Trash bags, gloves, & trash grabbers will be provide.  Please bring anything else you would want to use.

Mayor Hogsett has an initiative of 2017 being the “Year of Clean”.  Let’s show him how those of us in District 6 and the area want to do our part!  Hope that you can join us on September 23rd.

Please feel free to forward this email to others who may be interested or to print off the flyer and post or distribute.  I have included two versions, one in fall colors and the other in black and white.  You may use which one you wish.  We certainly would appreciate help in getting the word out.

Sincerely,

Janice McHenry
City-County Councillor District 6
