Children’s Christmas Activities

Dear All,

I know Thanksgiving is not over, but there are three Children’s Christmas Activities that are quickly approaching and one has a deadline to register by Monday, November 27th, so I am getting these out “a wee bit early”.  If you have children, grandchildren, friends, or neighbors who would enjoy any of these activities, please share these with them.

Breakfast With Santa – This is the 19th Annual Breakfast with Santa.  It is on Saturday, December 16th from 9 a.m. – noon and held at the Chapel Hill 7th and 8th Grade Center – located at 7320 W. 10th Street.  This is one in which you must register in advance by Monday, November 27th and have the printed confirmation page.  Information is attached.  Also, if you would like to volunteer, they are looking for more adults to help with this huge event.  You may contact Becki Viewegh at 317-246-6269 or Becki.Viewegh@waynetwp.org.

Pictures With Santa – The Eagledale Neighborhood Association is having their annual Pictures With Santa on Saturday, December 2nd, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Amvets 99 – located at 2840 Lafayette Road (building is back off of Lafayette Road).  This is a free event in which boys and girls may have a picture taken with Santa, enjoy refreshments, and participate in some crafts.  Please see flyer for more information.

Clermont Lions Club Children’s Christmas Party – Another annual event, this one on December 16th at the Lions Club Park on Tansel Road in Clermont.  Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and Santa will arrive at 7:00 p.m.  This, too, is free.  I will post more details about this event at a later date when I get a flyer, but it is always a great time for the boys and girls.

Again, please feel free to share these activities with your neighborhood or others who you feel would enjoy these special Christmas community events for our children.

Sincerely,

Janice McHenry
City-County Councillor District 6
