Dear All,
This is a reminder about Mayor Joe Hogsett’s Neighborhood City Hall that is coming up on Wednesday, July 25th, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Chapel Rock Christian Church which is located 2020 N. Girls School Road in their gym. This is a great opportunity to see the Mayor and talk with representatives from many of the City Services. Please see attached flyer for more details.
Also on Wednesday Mayor Hogsett along with IMPD Chief Bryan Roach will be walking in part of Eagledale. They are starting at 2:00 p.m. at 30th Street and Georgetown Road (southeast corner where Big Lots used to be). You are invited to come out to either meet or walk with them. See the attached flyer.
I would like to thank everyone who has been donating school supplies at Eagle Creek Park. It is a great way to help some boy or girl off to a better start for the new school year. We will continue to collect school supplies at the two gate houses (56th Street and 71st Street) and the Earth Discovery Center until Aug. 6th. Remember you do not have to enter the park to donate. If you have not been able to make it to the park yet, and you are going to the Neighbor City Hall on Wednesday, I will have a box with me to collect supplies. You may bring school supplies then and leave them in the box I will have with me. I will be sorting and distributing supplies to the schools starting next week.
