Dear All,
With the weather forecast for Saturday and the amount of snow still on the ground, the cleanup for Saturday, January 19th, is cancelled. I will keep you posted about our “weather date” of the following Saturday, January 26th. That, too, will depend on weather, the temperature, and amount of snow on the ground.
I would like to remind everyone to be safe this weekend. If you need to be out and we have the storm that is predicted, please be extremely cautious. Watch for snow plows or salt trucks and keep your distance as they do their job. Be careful if shoveling snow, driving, or any other activity. Remember when removing snow from your driveway that you are responsible for the sidewalk that is next to your property (be it in front, side, or behind your property). Please make sure that fireplugs are clear from snow and are easily visible from the street in case of an emergency. Also, it is best to dig out storm drains so they do not get snow or ice over them. Take care!
