Dear All,
Indianapolis Public Library’s CEO Jackie Nytes will be visiting all the branches on her annual “Love Your Library Tour” starting next week. Her first stop in our area will be at the Wayne Branch on Wednesday, January 30th, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. See attached for more information. Then on Saturday, Feb. 16th, from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. she will be visiting the Pike Branch and on Tuesday, Feb. 26th, from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. CEO Nytes will be at the Eagle Branch. This is a great time to meet CEO Jackie Nytes, as well as our Branch Managers and other key people at each library. You will also learn what is going on at each branch and get an intro to the new website and catalog for the libraries. Hope to see many of you during the “Love Your Library Tour” at one of our local libraries.
Wayne Branch also has some other exciting news. They are getting ready to do a renovation! The first public meeting about their renovation will take place on Wednesday, February 20th, at 3:00 p.m. This is a great time to get in on the “ground level” and find out more.
While the weather has been cold and seems to be limiting activities outside, inside our libraries are warm and always inviting. Attached are the calendars for the three libraries that are closest to all of us. Check out some of their programs as you check out some good books to curl up with and enjoy.
