Election Day 2019 (November 5th) will be here before we know it.

Dear All,

Election Day 2019 (November 5th) will be here before we know it.  I have attached a Voter’s Registration form for those who may need it.  If you have a student who has turned 18, you have changed your name, or if your address has changed since you last voted this form may be used to register.  This must be done before October 7th in order to vote in this election.  Completed forms need to be sent to:

Marion Co. Board of Voter Registration
200 East Washington, W131
Indianapolis, IN 46204

(317) 327-5040 (if you have any questions)

You may also request an absentee ballot by filling out the application that is attached for that (second attachment).  The deadline for submitting this is October 28th, but I would not wait until then to request it if you know you would like to vote absentee.  Reasons for voting absentee:  anyone over the age of 65, you are going to be on vacation or other reason that you will not be in Marion County on that day, working all 12 hours the polls are open, cannot get to the polls on election day, etc. (see form for more info).  This gives you the privacy of voting in your own home if you qualify to vote absentee.  Completed forms for request for an absentee ballot need to be sent to:

Marion Co. Election Board
3737 E. Washington St., Ste A
Indianapolis, IN 46201

(317) 327-5100 (if you have any questions)

Please feel free to share these forms with others who may need to register to vote or vote absentee. If you notice these forms are good throughout the state of Indiana and the second page of each has where they need to be mailed in all of Indiana’s 92 counties.

For all of you who live in District 6, I would like to ask for your vote.  For most of you there will only be two offices you will be voting for.  Those offices are Indianapolis Mayor and Indianapolis City-County Council.  I hope you will help me get re-elected to represent you in District 6 by voting for me.  Those of you who live in Clermont will also have two of your Town Board members to vote for, and those who live in Speedway will have your Town Council and Clerk-Treasurer up for election.

Also, for those who live in District 6 and would like one of my yard signs, please let me know.  I plan on getting them out next weekend (Oct. 5th).  If you have one of my yard signs from the primary, you may also put it out next weekend.  If you would like to help with my re-election campaign in other ways, please contact me as well.  I can use a lot of volunteers until and including election day.

Sincerely,

Janice McHenry

City-County Councillor District 6
