Dear All,
Just so there is no confusion, Presidents’ Day is not a City Holiday and there will be regular trash service next week. Wanted to make sure everyone was aware of this so you will put out your trash on your normal day.
In honor of Presidents’ Day several of our museums will be offering free admission on Monday. If you are able, this is a terrific way to visit these wonderful museums and save money. They are the Indiana State Museum, the Children’s Museum, and the NCAA Hall of Champions. The Indianapolis Zoo will be $5.
I would also like to remind you that “Coffee With A Cop” will be on Tuesday, Feb. 18th from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at the IHOP located 6901 W. 38th Street (east of Target). Hope to see many of you there. Great way to talk with some of the officers and Commander from our Northwest IMPD district one on one.
As you have been driving around I am sure you have noticed how many potholes there are. With the current freeze/thaw cycles they will continue to develope. Please report potholes in our district or areas on our city streets that you drive to the Mayor’s Action Center. You may call during the week to 317-327-4622 or use the app on your phone. Help in getting these reported so DPW (Department of Public Works) knows about them and they get filled.
If potholes are on the Interstates, the ramps to the Interstates, or the State Highways outside of I – 465 (Crawfordsville Road and Rockville Road), they need to be reported to INDOT (Indiana Department of Transportation) at 855-INDOT4U (855-463-6848) orwww.indot4u.com.
Hope all this information is helpful to you as you plan your week.
Sincerely,
Janice McHenry
