IN 20
Dear All,
Quite a bit of nostalga is in the next list of “The Twenty IN 20” as Visit Indiana has found 20 Drive-In Theaters that will transform you to what was extremly popular entertainment during the summer in the 50’s and 60’s (and even 70’s). Some of you who lived on the west side during those years may remember the Westlake Drive-In or Clermont Drive-In when you were growing up. You can make some new memories throughout the State; however, there are two of these outdoor big screens close to us – the Tibbs Drive-In is located at 480 S. Tibbs Ave. here in Indianapolis and the Centerbrook is on State Road 67 south of Mooresville (between Brooklyn and Centerton – can you figure out where the name came from?). There is more information about each of the 20 Drive-Ins including how they are adapting for Social Distancing and about consessions. Don’t forget, you can always pack a cooler and take your own food and beverages from home as well – just like the “Good Ol’ Days”.
Sincerely,
Janice McHenry
