On Thursday, October 15th, starting at 7:00 p.m. there is going to be a virtual MSD of Wayne Township School Board Candidates Forum. There are eight candidates running for the three spots that will be up this year. With the retirement of two of our long time board members, Phyllis Lewis and Trish Logan, there is only one incumbent running. This is a terrific opportunity for you to hear from all eight candidates, and “see” them at this virtual forum.
The 40 West Business Association held an in person forum two years ago when the other 4 members of the seven member board were running. This year, with COVID-19, we could not hold a forum at any of the schools. Feeling that it was very important that you can listen to all of the candidates, the 40 West Business Association has partnered with The Community News and Community Chatter to bring this to you virtually. You must register in advance, and the attached flyer gives you the information how to do that.
