Dear All,
Eagle Creek Park’s annual passes are available at the gatehouses, park office, or online at Indyparks.org. They are $50 for a Marion County resident and $60 for non-residents of Marion County. If you are a senior citizen (age 62+) the passes are $40. Veteran or active service members receive 1/2 off. Your pass will get your vehicle and your passengers into the park for the entire year.
Many of you may want to help Eagle Creek Park and its park projects by purchasing an Eagle Creek Park Foundation (ECPF) membership pass. These are $85 and the revenue raised from these passes stays in Eagle Creek Park. More information about these passes may be found on line by going to Eagle Creek Park Foundation or contact ECPF Director Blair McKissock at 317-327-7116. These passes need to be purchases online due to Covid-19 and may be done so by going to www.eaglecreekpark.org.
If you do not have an annual pass you may pay for daily admission. For Marion County residents it is $5 and $6 for non-residents per vehicle. It doesn’t take long for an annual pass to pay for itself when you visit the park frequently.
I have attached the January 2021 Eagle Creek Park Calendar. It is great to get this once again. While the events are not as many as this time last year, they are offering some programs. Please note that pre-registration is required for most programs due to limitation on attendees and information on registering is on the calendar.
If you are interested in Bark Park Passes, the information for annual and daily passes is at the bottom of the calendar. The Gordon Gilmer Bark Park is a great place for 4-legged friends to get exercise.
Currently both gatehouses at Eagle Creek Park are staffed Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. on weekends. The park does open at 7 a.m. every day and closes at 6 p.m. through January. Starting in February the park will close at 6:30 p.m.
The park grounds will be open on Monday, January 18th, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day; however the Earth Discovery Center, Ornithology Center, and the Park Office will be closed. Park admission is also free on January 18th.
Hope you get out and enjoy Eagle Creek Park. It has so much to offer throughout the year and is a terrific place to enjoy nature and being outdoors.
Sincerely,
Janice McHenry
