Dear All,
While summer does not actually start until later this month – most think of summer beginning with Memorial Day Weekend, so welcome summer to Eagle Creek Park! Attached is the June calendar. A lot going on, so check it out and make sure to register for the programs that require registration. Note that the “In Concert with Nature” or “Jazz on the Beach” from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays is back this year. There is a new location for this year at the beach area, well worth checking out and enjoying a lovely summer evening listening to music in a very relaxing atmosphere.
Two dates to take particular notice – Saturday, June 12th, there will be no access to the park until 11 a.m. due to the Sprint Triathlon. Then on Friday, June 18th, the EDC (Earth Discovery Center), the OC (Ornithology Center), and the Park Office will be closed. The grounds will still be open.
