Dear All,
While the month of August may be about over (Where did it go?), there is still time to enjoy some of the activities and events at Eagle Creek Park this month. Want to also remind everyone that entries for the “Images of Nature Photography Exhibit and Competition” that will be on display September 18th – October 3rd need to be dropped off August 28th and 29th.
I also want to take time to thank everyone who donated to the “Back to School Supply Drive”. The items are being sorted, boxed, and soon will be delivered to schools in the area. Thanks again to everyone who helped support this annual event and helped children get the supplies they need. It is truly appreciated.
Were you aware that on Friday our Eagle Creek Park was awarded Fox 59 Indy’s Best Hiking Trail? The Red/Blue Trail (also known as the Coffer Dam and Bird Sanctuary) was voted best hiking trail for its open views of the reservoir, diverse habitat types, and overall fun hike! A wonderful honor for our park!
So much to see and do at our award winning Eagle Creek Park, and the fun changes all the time. Hope you will take advantage of some of the opportunities soon.
