“Jingle Books!” program.

Dear All,

It is that time again this year when our Indianapolis Public Libraries are having their “Jingle Books!” program. This is an opportunity for parents, grandparents, and other caregivers to select a book to wrap and give to a child as a gift. A book is such a wonderful gift, and not every child has books that they can call their own. Through this program our libraries are helping every Indianapolis child receive a gift book during the holiday season.

You may help children receive books for Christmas by donating a book or two (or more) to one of our Indianapolis Public Libraries. The ones that are the closest to us are: Wayne (198 S. Girls School Road), Eagle (3905 Moller Road), and Pike (6525 Zionsville Road). You may drop them off during business hours. I know I took a bunch today to one of our libraries and they were most appreciative.

If you know of someone who is having trouble with getting Christmas presents this year for their child, please let them know how they can get a free book for the children in their lives. A book is truly a treasure.

Please see the attached flyer for more information. Remember that our libraries do require masks inside.

Sincerely,

Janice McHenry
