Attached is the August calendar for Eagle Creek Park. As usual there is a lot going on with nature for all ages. Check it out. Note that some programs do require registration. Please note that on Saturday, Aug. 13th and Saturday, Aug. 27th you will not be able to go into the park until 11:00 a.m. Don’t forget that there is music in the beach area at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings this month.
Just a reminder that we are collecting school supplies to be given to our local schools to help children to succeed through the middle of the month. It seems our donations are down this year. Please help by bringing new supplies to either the park gates, the Earth Discovery Center, or the park office and drop off. It will help bring a smile to a child and the staff at the schools really do appreciate it.
