“Clean Out Your Medicine Cabinet”

Dear All,

Marsh Pharmacies are holding their “Clean Out Your Medicine Cabinet” event during normal pharmacy hours for four days starting Friday, Aprils 29th and continuing through Monday, May 2nd.  This is a great way to get rid of your unwanted and no longer needed medications for free disposal.  By disposing of your medications this way it keeps our ground water, lakes, rivers, and streams from having contaminates in them as well as helps protect our homes from accidental poisonings.  So, if you have been wondering how you were going to get rid of those medications you no longer need or that are outdated, take them to Marsh this weekend.  The attached flyer gives more information about what is and is not accepted.  Remember, never flush your old or no longer needed medications down the toilet or a drain.

Please feel free to forward this to others who may be interested in this free way to get rid of unwanted medications as all of the Marsh Pharmacies throughout Marion County and the surrounding areas are participating.

Sincerely,

Janice McHenry
City-County Councillor District 6
