Dear All,
I have some information for those of you who may travel on Tansel Road south of Crawfordsville Road and south of Clermont. Tansel Road is scheduled for a total road closure from October 30th – November 20th. This is to remove and replace two petroleum pipelines. From the permit I saw they will actually be working in the 2300 block of Tansel Road. Local traffic will be able to get through to their homes (and streets) either from the north or south, depending on which side of the construction work you live on.
When this project is finished the road will be repaired in “winter restoration mode” due to the time of year. The road then will be completely fixed in the spring.
Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of this project. The detour route is Raceway Road (which is the next road) to the west. Please feel free to forward this information to others who may travel that way.

P.S. It appears that Raceway Road between 46th Street and 52nd Street is open again. While I have not had official notification of that, I did drive that way myself on Friday. It is really nice and quite an improvement.
