Dear All,
There are three great events happening in our area that I thought you may be interested in knowing more about. Hopefully you will consider attending one or more to show support for the organizations who are sponsoring them. Some information is below and more information is on the attached flyers.
1.) Clermont Lions Club is having a Fish Fry and Bluegrass Music on Friday, February 23, starting at 5:00 p.m. Great food, reasonable price, and yummy homemade desserts! Don’t forget that they also will have the Grasslands Bluegrass Band playing from 6 – 8:30. The Clermont Lions Club does a lot for our area, including three children’s parties (Easter, Halloween, and Christmas). Come out and support them and what they do for the community.
2.) Saturday, March 3rd, the Speedway Lions Club is having a Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction from 8 a.m. – noon. Start your day off with a filling breakfast and a chance to bid on some terrific silent auction items. Show support for them and the projects they do by coming out to their Pancake Breakfast.
3.) Barbecue and Bourbon is giving 15% of your receipt to Speedway Trails on Tuesday, March 6th. This is for all day – both dine in and carry out menu as well as a special buffet that evening. You do need to print off the attached flyer and present it to your server. If you have not enjoyed their food, you are in for a treat. Speedway Trails is raising money to finish the paving of the P&E Trail in Speedway. Trail systems offer a wonderful way to exercise for all ages and for families as well as an alternate way to get places without driving. Help them raise the money they need for the trails.
Hopefully I will see you at one or more of these events. What an enjoyable way to help some of the organizations that do great work for our area.
