Wanted to make sure everyone was aware that our trash will be on regular schedule this week and next. With both Christmas and New Year’s Day on Saturday there is no change in trash pick up.
Also, if you had a live Christmas Tree and are wondering what to do with it, eight of our City Parks have bins to put your trees in to be recycled. Make sure you do remove all decorations, lights, tinsel, etc. before taking your tree to be recycled. This is for live trees only. The two sites closest to us are Northwestway Park (5253 W. 62nd Street) and Krannert Park (605 S. High School Road). You may take your tree to any of these sites until January 31st.
