Just a reminder that Trash Pickup will operate on a slide schedule this week. There is no pickup on Monday, Jan. 17th, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Monday’s trash will be picked up on Tuesday, Tuesday on Wednesday, and so on until Friday will be picked up on Saturday.
Also wanted to make sure everyone is aware of an Electronics Recycling Special Event that is being presented by Sustain Indy & Recycleforce. This is happening on Saturday, January 22nd, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Garfield Park on the south side. The address for the event is 2345 Pagoda Drive. There is no cost to drop off your old, broken, outdated, and otherwise unwanted electronics for this event. Electronics are considered anything with a cord plus a lot more. Some things without cords may be cell phones, laptops, keyboards, tablets, and other items. Go to: Post-Holiday Electronics Recycling Special Event. The website gives information about the event as well as a list of items they will accept.
